Itsomewhat depends. To get the most accurate number, you need to drain your battery to like 15% and then charge to 100%. If you set the battery limit to 60 or 80 the estimates get wacky. When I got the laptop, turned on eco mode 75 brightness it was reading 8 hours (HWinfo), though I never fully tested it. ASUS says that the 80% battery limit
Turboboost is just when ur CPU has some good time and decides to work a bit harder. I'd recommend volting your cpu back to normal and disabling turbo boost. Or if you lose performance, you can use Intel Extreme tuning utility to control how the turbo boost performs. Hope this helps. I'll try that.
Disabledthe turbo boost following the steps on the pinned comment, but it doesn't seem to actually do anything on my G15 For some reason when running Modern Warfare with the Armory Crate on windows mode and the power options on high performance but disabled boost, it still boosts all the time getting temps of around 80 to 90 ºC.
